Sex and the City fans will be disappointed to learn that the sequel to the movie has been delayed.

Filming in New York has already been pushed back until the end of August and now sources claim plans to film in Dubai have upset the government of the strict Muslim nation. A source tells Us Weekly, “The UAE authorities aren’t keen on the title because of the word ’sex’.”

Good news is that during the delay the producers of the movie will be holding an open casting call for extras on August 4th.

And now talking with Columbia to play the gangster villain to Seth Rogen’s Green Hornet. Eventhough the film switched directors mid-development stream with Michel Gondry in for Stephen Chow which later left the project entirely rather than play sidekick Kato — But the film is moving full-steam ahead.

Recently, it was reported that Cameron Diaz is negotiating to play a reporter and love interest.
Diaz will star with Tom Cruise in James Mangold’s formerly titled Wichita.

Kristen Bell is calling on fans for support if they want to see her short-lived TV series Veronica Mars revived for the big screen.

The actress starred as the title character, a student-turned-private investigator, in the cult series for three seasons before it was dropped by the CW in 2007.

But she’s desperate to bring Veronica Mars back to life — and has issued a plea to fans begging them to flood Warner Bros.
