Paula Abdul will not returning as a judge on American Idol next season.
“Very sadly, it does not appear that she’s going to be back on Idol,”
Paula’s manager, David Soneberg says.
Even though Paula wants to return as a judge, AI production heads FremantleMedia and 19 Entertaiment have yet to draw up a contract for Abdul.
Randy’s current AI contract runs through 2011 and both Ryan Seacreast and Simon Cowell have been offered major $ to return to Idol.
Says Soneberg:
“She’s not a happy camper as a result of what’s going on. She’s hurt. She’s angry.”
